On November 21 & 22, our second performance.now() conference took place in Amsterdam; a single track conference with 14 speakers covering today’s most important web performance insights: https://perfnow.nl/
On 8th and 9th of November, 2018, the inaugural performance.now() conference took place in Amsterdam, a single track conference with sixteen world-class speakers covering today’s most important web performance insights.
On Thursday 15th and Friday 16th of June, 2017, CSS Day returned with two conference days: Browser API Special on Thursday, and a regular CSS Day on Friday.
Browser API Special was this year's one-off: eight speakers about current or future browser APIs. How do they work? What are their problems? What else can we expect? Browser API Special was hosted by former speaker and security wizard Mathias Bynens.
Our regular visitors knew the score: CSS Day featured eight world-class sessions by eight world-class speakers about curious, badly-known, or just interesting CSS features. This year's CSS Day was hosted by former speaker and design nerd Vasilis van Gemert.
CSS Day 2016 was a two-day advanced web development conference, one day about CSS, and one day about HTML.
The new HTML Special, on Thursday 16th of June, treated a few advanced HTML5 topics such as iframes, links, and SVG. Don't expect basic sessions, by the way; we kind-of assume that our attendees already know how HTML works, and that they prefer to hear about edge cases, odd circumstances, and advanced tips and tricks. HTML Special was hosted by Ruben Bos.
The actual CSS Day, on Friday 17th of June, was in its fourth year. Frequent visitors knew the score: geeky nerding about CSS topics you were only vaguely aware of, but ended up wanting to use in your projects immediately. CSS Day was hosted by Stephen Hay.
