TRAX3D, the free track planning tool

TRAX3D is a free model railway planner that you use in 3D. Lay your layout from the manufacturers'
track libraries — more than a hundred libraries, from Märklin, Fleischmann, Roco, Peco, Kato, Trix, PIKO,
Tillig, Atlas, Bachmann, LGB and many more — so what you draw is what you can buy and build.

Shape the landscape around your track: hills, tunnels, bridges, rivers, lakes and canals, roads and walls,
grass, trees and buildings. Look at the result from every side, as if you were standing beside it. Switch
to the CAD drawing to see the measurements, radii and gradients, and let TRAX3D check your layout for
problems such as too-steep grades, too-tight curves and track too close together.

Make a parts list of everything you have laid, print your layout to scale, and share it with other model
railway enthusiasts in the showcase. Your layouts are kept safely on the server, so you can work on them
from any computer.
