Hello, I'm Shivya! More than a decade ago, I quit my full time job, gave up my rented apartment and sold most of my belongings to build a life of travel. I lived out of two bags for nearly 7 years, spending time with local communities from Uzbekistan to Guatemala. Along the way, I began sharing my experiences on my travel blog, Instagram and newsletter - and turned my love for travel and storytelling into my career!

I've been a writer for a long time, but I'm now experimenting with Youtube, hoping to bring ideas of slow, offbeat and sustainable travel to those who want to explore the world in a deeper and more adventurous way. I'm excited to take this journey together 💚
