The S.A.L.T.

The S.A.L.T. (Savior's Ambassadors Laboring Together) is a nonprofit with a mission to eradicate homelessness and restore broken communities in our inner cities through faith-based partnerships. 
 
Inspired by a movement begun in 2006 by the Underground Network that continues to sweep across the nation, we have, during this past year, far exceeded preliminary goals to begin establishing church-based Community Development Hubs in 2024. Based in Compton and South L.A., each of these Hubs work out of an established local church. From there, residents affected by problems leading to homelessness will be connected to both available services and to the support of a local faith-based community. 
 
Our current success includes a rapidly growing collaboration of over 180 faith leaders and over 150 social service agencies, with a strong core of 15 dedicated members on our team.
