The Bible in Living Color

God gave us Jesus Christ (Hebrew name Yeshua Hamashiach), as Lord and Savior. Knowing God's word, the Bible, is life-changing! The Bible in Living Color adds back true Hebrew names because their original ones had meaning. Yeshua, from Yehoshua, means 'Adonai (God) saves.' Hamashiach means Anointed One/Messiah. Exodus 2 tells us Moses (Moshe) looked like an ancient Egyptian; they were brown. Numbers 12 says his wife was Ethiopian, also brown. Acts 21:38 states Apostle Paul (Sha'ul) looked Egyptian too. The late Billy Graham preached Jesus had "a brown skin." Rabbi Ishmael, a great sage of the Mishnah/Talmud (central text of rabbinical Judaism) said the Israelites, "for whom I atone, were neither black nor white, but of an intermediate skin tone, like boxwood". He lived among them; he knew firsthand. Skin color matters not in eternity. Man's attempt to rewrite God's Word for his own gain disrespects the sovereignty of God. We are ALL His; we are brothers and sisters. Let's act like it!
