This video presents the potential of the SPARK platform in collaborative creative design sessions.
The SPARK platform allows to reduce lengthy and unfruitful iterations and requests to re-design a proposed solution.
It enables designers to share their idea development process together with company owners and all the diverse stakeholders making them co-designers... including, of course, the final consumers!
A shared real-like visualization of the final solution onto a prototype facilitates communication for both idea generation and evaluation. The prototype is the white canvass where all the co-designers can work on to unleash their creativity. The complete freedom to handle the prototype in the projection area allows to visualize contents on the various sides of the real-like mixed prototype (tangible in its shape, virtual in its surface-shown contents)
The platform exploits the potential of a unique HW/SW combination:
- projectors to visualize the final aspect of the solution onto the blank prototype
- a tracking system that allows to locate the prototype inside a working area
- a web-based application that allows multiple users to interact with the prototype, also from ubiquitous locations.
