Space Affairs "The Road to the Stars" - Soyuz MS-09 Expedition
To go to Baikonur means a long way. It is not such easy to get there, you have to head to Moscow first, or you have to fly directly first to Astana and then to Kyzylorda with an afterwards bus drive of three hours until you arrive at Baikonur.
Since 2002 we go to Baikonur, as we developed our own Baikonur programs. Over the years they have been modified. In June 2018 we started first time another tour with a new business partner from Russia, Prostocosmos, who took our ideas and developments into a late stage and relationship.
In five full days at Baikonur, we made a deep expedition in the heart of Baikonur. We visited the launchpads of Soyuz, Energia and Proton. We visited the launchpad where the "Nedelin Catastrophe" happened in October 1960, as the second stage of a rocket exploded on the pad and left dozens of dead and injured.
We stayed close to the international crew of astronauts and Cosmonauts from NASA, Roskosmos and ESA who built the team of Soyuz MS-09, we saw them leaving Earth and disappearing on only some minutes into the blue sky above the Cosmodrome of Baikonur, reaching orbit than in space in just 8 minutes.
Our "The Road to the Stars" Baikonur Expedition can take place four times a year when a manned launch is scheduled. It is not an ordinary tour, and it will touch your inner self, not only for those who are space interested. It is a tour into the deep soul of humans, who reach the stars.
