Robert Van Solo Piano

I'm Robert Van, a keyboardist, pianist, composer, and teacher in the Los Angeles area. Welcome to my channel, where you’ll find my original solo piano arrangements of popular Blues, Jazz, Pop, and Rock tunes, as well as my own Original Compositions.

For those who like blues piano, I’ve developed a series of instructional shorts titled “A Moment of Blues.” Each short is in the key of C and has a riff and/or a left-hand bass line that’s repeated. Styles include Basic 12-bar blues, Shuffle, Slow Blues, Mambo, and Soul Blues.

If you want more in-depth instruction on the blues, please check out my new Basic 12 Bar Blues Shuffle tutorials in the key of C.

I’ve also uploaded some exclusive audio tracks from previous recording sessions
