Paint Out Norwich

Paint Out Norwich & Norfolk launched in 2014 and was the UK's first jury entried plein air painting competition. It saw 28 artists tackle historic Norwich locations in the open air using oils, watercolour, pastels, pen and ink, mixed media and even screen printing, during 4 timed 3 hour long painting sessions, producing over 100+ works of art, a live auction and 2 week exhibition as part of the Hostry Festival. Since then over 200 artists have taken part in 20+ events across 3 counties taking in Cambs and Suffolk as well as Norfolk locations. Check out www.paintout.org for more information and galleries of past events.
