MESS is a not-for-profit organisation based in Melbourne / Naarm. Our vision is to empower all people to build an enriched life through music. 

At the heart of MESS is our expansive collection of over 1,000 eclectic and historically significant electronic musical instruments – the largest publicly available in the Southern Hemisphere. But MESS is so much more than a collection of instruments. We are about connecting people and creativity. We provide hands on access to this museum grade resource to foster community around the transformative power of music making.
