Ricky Dunn Films

I’m Ricky Dunn. I make long form travel documentaries about places & experiences worth taking your time over.
I’ve spent most of my career in tourism, including roles with Gold Coast Tourism and Tourism Australia in London and LA. I’ve since created content for Tourism Australia, Tourism & Events Queensland, and various luxury properties.
I’ve been to almost 100 countries & lived in four. In 2019, my wife Nat & I left LA to embrace slow, full-time travel. We’re still on the road & rarely stay anywhere less than a month.
I don’t upload often. I take my time with each video and would rather post less and get it right.
Tasmania in winter. RV trips across Australia. Africa’s Kingdom of Eswatini, plus Tobago, Guatemala & more. I focus on travel that often gets overlooked, embracing the off season & getting off the beaten path for more authentic experiences with fewer crowds.
For (inconsistent) updates between films, follow Nat & me @lifedunndifferently.
Cheers,
Ricky
