Since its establishment in 1962, Korea National Opera has been striving to put world-class operas on stage. In particular, KNO is showcasing the Korean premiere of operas with excellent artistry, introducing experimental directors and developing Korean original operas that embody the Korean sentiment. 

Korea National Opera will continue producing operas that not only Koreans, but also the world can relate to and enjoy. Korea National Opera will strive to breathe with the audience with a greater impression and to lead a happier world through opera.
