Halloween is coming and we have a super fun and easy craft kids can make . . . Paper Mache Bowls made from newspaper! This kid friendly paper mache recipe uses only 2 ingredients - FLOUR & WATER. That means no glue, parents ;-) You can decorate your bowls any way you like; however since October is fast approaching, we turned our paper mache bowls into a spider, pumpkin and monster. Yup, you guessed it...these newspaper paper mache bowls are holding candy.
You'd be surprised how strong the bowls are once the paper mache paste has dried. They would be a great halloween craft to make in an art class or with friends. If you're a teacher, they'd look really cute on the end of a desk too!
ITEMS NEEDED TO MAKE OUR HALLOWEEN INSPIRED PAPER MACHE BOWLS:
- Googly Eyes
- Acrylic Paint
- Paint Brushes
- Hot Glue Gun
- Pipe Cleaners (if you're making the spider)
We found this recipe on Red Ted Art. If you haven't seen her channel yet, you're missing out!
We hope you enjoy!
