The actual harvest of one 300 year old olive tree that gave cca 80 kilograms (176 pounds) of fresh organic olives. Immediately after the harvest they were taken to the local oil mill to produce extra virgin olive oil. From this particular tree alone, some 9 litres of extra virgin olive oil is produced (25 ml or 75 ml green bottles).
The harvest of olives and making extra virgin olive oil is very important for the traditional local cuisine. The healthy organic crops and ECO-Friendly food production are of vital importance to the family "Mujo" and local culture.
