Going Hard for Christ Church

Pastor Lawrence Peoples is a native Tulsan who was born in 1969. After high school, Lawrence moved to Sacramento, California, where his life of gang-banging and drug use spiraled out of control. As a result, two prison sentences followed. On April 30, 1995 while incarcerated, Lawrence gave his heart to God and from that day forward, a transformation took place. After Lawrence was released from prison in 1998, he was able to receive gainful employment through his obedience and then granted a full pardon by former Governor Frank Keating.
