Gary Clarke Company is a project based company based in Yorkshire and is led by Artistic Director Gary Clarke and Producer Annabel Dunbar.

Community, communication, education and entertainment is at the heart of the company’s work and with an esteemed team of creative collaborators, the company produce cutting edge dance theatre work that comments on both popular and political culture with strong narratives and striking visuals.

Following the award-winning and critically acclaimed COAL and WASTELAND, Gary Clarke Company is now touring DETENTION across the UK in 2025.
