GIANO Public History APS

The GIANO PUBLIC HISTORY Association for Social Promotion promotes historical studies and their public communication. Through a rigorous approach and making use of historians from various Italian universities, it contributes to the affirmation of historical culture as a useful resource for the social and cultural development of communities and territories.
To this end, it fights all forms of manipulation and mystification of the past, as well as the practices of disinformation of public opinion. Faithful to the mission of Public History, GIANO PH APS makes history “for the public and with the public”.
GIANO PUBLIC HISTORY APS belongs to the CISPH Interuniversity Center for the research and development of Public History.
