Each week on The Dave Lorenzo Daily channel, Dave interviews an expert, author, or business leader who gives us practical guidance on how to make more money and get home on time, for dinner every night. These focused actionable tips help you sell more.
The name of this weekly interview show is the DO THIS SELL MORE show.
A new guest interview is posted each week here on the Dave Lorenzo Daily channel.
This week our guest is The Million Dollar Consultant himself, Alan Weiss, PhD.
In this episode, Dave and Alan discuss:
- Moving beyond your own cocoon and taking in the rest of the world.
- Differentiating yourself as someone you and others want to know.
- Networking to increase sales – it’s a process, not an event.
- Creating and maintaining a healthy self-esteem when you’re an independent professional or sales executive.
Key Takeaways and actionable tips:
- Be well-read and well-traveled.
- Stop talking about your field and start talking about other things.
- In sales, charge based upon value.
- Appear in the public square that makes sense to your clients frequently with new intellectual property.
- Do not listen to unsolicited feedback.
