The Concession Golf Course, a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course co-designed in association with Tony Jacklin, features over 1,200 acres of pristine old Florida land, centuries old Live Oak trees, towering pines and protected wetlands. Named the "Best New Private Course of 2006" by Golf Digest Magazine, the course is located on the border of Sarasota & Manatee Counties and sits just six miles east of 1-75 at University Parkway and Bourneside Avenue. The world-class golf community that neighbors the golf course attracts world-renown golfers and earns respect from everyone who plays on the course.

During the 1969 Ryder Cup, Jack Nicklaus conceded Tony Jacklin's final putt with the knowledge that the choice would seal the tournament in a draw. It has been called one the most famous gestures of sportsmanship in any sport to date. That gesture became known as "The Concession" and inspired the renown golf course located in Sarasota, Florida.
