Candid with Cassidy

After struggling with mysterious symptoms for over two years, 12-year-old Cassidy was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor (a hypothalamic pilocytic astrocytoma) on October 2, 2020. When assigned a "passion project" through her school's GATES program only six weeks later, Cassidy decided to document her chemo journey in a series of spontaneous Q&A's with her mom. Her goal? To help kids with cancer realize that they're not alone, and to give others a glimpse into the fight faced by warriors like her every single day.
