Peace! I'm DeVán, and music has been a heliocentric force of my life's journey. DJing, writing reviews, making lists, and having conversations with others about the music that shapes us is why I continue to recommend and share the art I find along the way. This channel is a space for medium-length, detailed dissections of art - where creativity, ability, and cultural impact always prevail.

BLIGATORY is the grassroots, community-powered music journalism platform where everyone has a voice! I co-founded the project with a team of my peers, a small group of independent and freelance music journalists and content creators (many of them in my featured channels!). Rate albums, rank discographies, and create playlists with us!
