    An incomparable dialog between generations

    Get fascinated by this journey owing to Cuban culture, full of dance and music.

    In interviews, music- and dance sequences exhibit some of the most important and world famous protagonists of the cultural scene in Cuba, the conversion of Cuban Salsa, Rumba and African tradition until the present era.

    The movie impresses with its proximity to protagonists. They discuss different subjects and get into details by live demonstration. They provide an overall understanding of the topic for Cuba specialists as well as interested viewers.

    The film has a length oft 100 minutes and is available with a resolution of Full HD 1080p.

    My story started, when I run into Adonis Panter Calderón in 2003. Then he was playing and dancing with the Folk Group Baobab at the rooftop of the hotel Inglaterra in Havana twice a week.
    Seeing him play and dance fascinated me and on my 3 month trip to Costa Rica, Panama and Cuba I bought a small camera and started filming.
    Since then the 19 years old youngster became a friend and brother to me, is raising his son AdonisJr and directs his group Adonis y Osain del Monte.

    From 2005 to 2009 we built the social kids project LA RUMBA NO VA A MORIR in Juanelo and started to work at the same time with some of the greatest artists of the Cuban culture at the time.
    In 2016 I released the great documentary THE BLACK ROOTS OF SALSA, documenting incredible moments of the Cuban culture.

    Over the years many great personalities crossed our way and during my marriage with Ismaray Chacón Aspirina we documented the work of her family for the Cuban culture.

    Adonis y Osain del Monte is the group of the great Cuban percussionist Adonis Panter Calderón, founded in 2013.

    The group is dedicated to Cuban and Afro-Cuban culture with an incredibly strong rhythm section.

    Since the beginning atticchris documents the different steps of the group in various episodes in this youtube channel.

    Meanwhile they played at many festivals and have their Wednesday concert at the Piano Bar - Diablo Tun Tun above the Casa de La Musica in Miramar, Havana, starting at 11 pm.
