"Marching Minds" ist taken from the mini album "Dark Skies" of Canadian based music producer and composer Andy Strohkirch, which was produced with the ambition to showcase the degree of musical development, and to be the first official solo release under the own name.

The musical style of "Dark Skies" can be placed somewhere along the wide field of Alternative Rock with influences from Progressive Rock to Jazz to Metal.

Andy Strohkirch is creating his musical landscapes mostly at the studio, playing guitars, percussion and keyboards, making frequent use of multitrack recording. Many of his compositions are instrumentals, which could fit into a film sequence comfortably. But there are vocals too, samples and natural sounding synthetic instruments, which are handcrafted with use of a sampler.

His music isn't easy to be placed into one category, except maybe one would be defined for him. His sound and play is distinguishable and unique, his music delivers moods anywhere from calm to dramatic and may occasionally be hypnotic to the listener. Show less
