The District of Sechelt is the largest population centre in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. The District municipality of 11,000 citizens is located about 30 km north from the ferry terminal that connects the Sunshine Coast to the Lower Mainland.

With easy access to tidal, fresh water and backcountry recreation it is quickly becoming a hub for outdoor enthusiasts.
