Dr Prajwal Ghimire

I am a Neurosurgeon-scientist with 15 years of medical experience actively involved in academic research focused on neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, cancer imaging, digital health and artificial intelligence.

As a final year PhD candidate at King’s College London with over 3.5 years of dedicated academic research experience, my work focuses on the intersection of cancer neuroimaging, radiogenomics, and artificial intelligence. My research aims to develop predictive models and imaging biomarkers to enhance glioblastoma immunotherapy outcomes, leveraging deep learning techniques to advance the field of neuro-oncology.  

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have over 10 years of clinical experience as a Specialist Registrar and Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. My rotations across subspecialties, including neuro-oncology, complex spine, skull base, pediatrics and neurovascular, have enriched my expertise in clinical neurosurgery.
