We are the National Inventors Hall of Fame®: the driving force behind lifelong innovation, paying forward America’s rich history of invention and securing our country’s competitive advantage for the future.
Camp Invention®, a program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame, is a week long summer day camp for children in grades K-6, where STEM skills are built with creative, hands-on problem-solving activities. Find a program location near you at invent.org!
Club Invention® is an exciting after-school program inspired by the Inductees of the National Inventors Hall of Fame, where students will learn through hands-on fun. Based on the same guiding principles as Camp Invention®, children in first through sixth grade work in teams to creatively brainstorm on ways to solve everyday challenges and enhance their understanding of essential STEM concepts.
Invention Playground® is developed for preschool partners and is typically embedded into the preschool day and identifies natural learning opportunities for preschoolers to develop and grow foundational STEM skills. They do this by being immersed in an environment where children talk, read, sing, and play about STEM.
Created for rising 6th through 9th graders, Invention Project® enables children to explore the edge of innovation and imagine the possibilities through dreaming, designing, engineering, and making. Inventing is part one. Bringing an invention to the world is part two. Innovators are challenged to create new, inventive designs, but they must also consider principles of business (e.g., rapid prototyping, market research, shipping and profit).
The Collegiate Inventors Competition® is the nation’s foremost competition encouraging innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity in students who are working on cutting-edge inventions at their colleges and universities nationwide. Learn more about CIC at invent.org!
