Youtube has disabled comments on our videos except for these random ones. They told us they did a mass disabling of comments on all videos featuring kids under 12, because parents weren't monitoring comments, but that was a lie. This rule didn't apply to all channels with kids under 12, we're no longer under 12 and we've never had unmonitored comments.
Now Youtube is telling us, comments are disabled forever because our videos are made specifically for kids. This is also a lie. This rule doesn't apply to all channels and our videos are not specifically made for kids.
Everyone on Youtube now has the option to chose if a video is made for kids or not. Youtube has disabled that option on our channel. When explaining to Youtube how Post Malone cover songs don't fall in the same category as a Peppa Pig videos, they didn't care and refused to enable the new feature on our channel.
So what is really going on? Youtube does not want us on their platform anymore because we are not a corporation or a huge channel, like similar channels where these rules don't apply.
So what do we do? Well, we persevere until it's no longer fun. Not, being able to interact with you through the comments is a huge set back, but there is still the community tab and our instagram. We hope you stick around with us on Youtube for as long as we do! The girls are getting a piano for Christmas and can't wait to share more music with you!
Thank you for all your support over the years! Lots of love, Sam, Sophia and Bella
