Social and Political history is like a bald eagle in flight: No one seems to study any more they just enjoy watching it fly by with all of its majesty. 
The problem comes when that same bald eagle lands in front the collective conscience of our Country and we are forced to look at it from every angle and see the damage to its﻿ wings that we created by keeping it in flight away from our shores and homeland.
Such a brave bird but a fragile body!
