Jason Welch Music

Welcome to my channel! Im Jason Welch, a Christian Country songwriter.
This channel was originally created to mark my progress as I learn the pedal steel guitar. A drummer at heart, and fascinated with western swing, I began listnening to how the bass, drums, and steel work off of each other. So what better way to learn what the other musicians "need" than to put myself "in their shoes". So I learned the 'walking bass' from my dad in my youth. But the steel kept stealing my heart. Please be kind.. I'm a beginner!

Also I'll be posting some of my drum students from time to time to show them off.

I am an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love to write, sing, and play gospel music with that country sound. Presently im writing songs for various artists. Im also available for southern/country gospel session work on studio recordings. Offering Cross Harmonica, Drums, Bass, Backup vocals.

Hope you enjoy at least something...Lol. .
