Flatworld

Lively world music from all points East.

"Brilliant... like The Ukrainians meet klezmer" — Genevieve Tudor, BBC Radio Shropshire
"Love the music..." — The Ukrainians

Rich compelling melodies and tight driving rhythm, Flatworld play an eclectic mix of music from Eastern Europe and beyond.

We take tunes from eastern European folk traditions (and a few from elsewhere) and present them in a lively and accessible form — audiences are often dancing by the end of our show.

The line-up is:
    Rachel Bridgen — oboe
    Jerry Chester — double bass
    Garry Low — drums, percussion
    Neil Poulter — guitars, vocal
    Kimberly Turnbull — violin, vocal
