Sales Excellence is a term that is bandied about like the punchline of a joke. You're probably looking for the best sales training videos on YouTube and asking yourself: What does it take to be great at selling?
Here is the simple answer:
To be great at selling, to achieve sales excellence, you need four things:
1). An External Orientation
2). Intellectual curiosity
3). An effective sales process
4). A dedication to continuous improvement
This video is sales excellence training to help discover how to become a great salesperson.
When we discuss external orientation, you will discover the area most salespeople screw-up. You see, most salespeople force themselves on others and try and push their product or service. When you develop an external orientation, you focus on helping the other person first. After that, they will want to help you. This may mean buying from you or it may mean giving you a referral.
The second quality of sales excellence is intellectual curiosity. This means you naturally want to learn more about the client and his business. This will help you anticipate his needs. It will help you help him solve problems. It will help you anticipate his needs. Your relationship with your client will grow and he will either buy more from you or refer you to more people.
The third quality necessary for sales excellence is having an effective sales process. You need to know what to do and when to do it. This must be second nature for you. If you don't have a sales process, you can watch my sales training videos and develop your own process from them (or you can call me and I will help you).
The fourth and final quality necessary for sales excellence is a focus on continuous improvement. You must be committed to growth and to lifelong learning. This means you are always discovering new ways to grow your sales skills. You are always looking for new sales techniques. You are constantly discovering new people who will help you. Victor Antonio, Brian Tracy, Grant Cardone, Dan Lok, Marc Wayshak, Jeb Bloundt, Anthony Iannarino and Dave Lorenzo (me) all have valuable content to offer.
