Useless Culinary Science

There’s more science hiding in everyday food than you might think.
Even something as simple as a bowl of ramen, an egg, or a piece of meat can change dramatically depending on temperature, time, moisture, pressure, and chemical reactions.

On this channel, we cook familiar foods while exploring the science behind what actually happens during the process — in a way that’s easy to understand, visual, and fun.

We take cooking a little more seriously than necessary,
but somehow, the “useless” science often turns out to be pretty useful.

We cook, experiment, and find out why food works the way it does.
