To say, "I am a person with a disability," means that I have accepted life's unfairness and chosen to keep moving forward.

To say, "I retired with honor after 38 years of public service," means that I have accepted life's unfairness and continued to do my best.

Everything I say comes from the same belief:

Life is not always fair, but we can still choose how we live.

Everything I share carries one message:

Although life has not always been fair to me, I still love my life.
