Zara Monét

Zara Monét is a 22-year-old R&B singer-songwriter whose sound was built on a diet of Aaliyah, Brandy, Mary J. Blige, and late nights writing lyrics that were never meant to be kept private.

Her music sits in the space where classic 90s hip-hop soul meets modern R&B — warm production, sharp writing, and a vocal delivery that knows exactly when to pull back and when to let go. Every song she releases is rooted in real emotion and shaped by a sonic identity that feels timeless without trying to be nostalgic.

Her debut single Don’t Leave the Lights On — a cinematic slow burn about loving someone enough to stop waiting on them — is the introduction to a voice that has been writing in the margins and singing in the quiet for years.

The debut EP Porch Light is coming in 2026.

Zara Monét is just getting started.
