Zach Kadro

There was a time I stepped away from music.
Not because I stopped loving it, but because I felt called to grow, to expand, and
to explore different parts of myself.

I followed that call into natural medicine.
During my years in naturopathic medical school,
the constant radio in my head, the one that had been playing song ideas since I was a teenager, went quiet.
For the first time, the music stopped.

But toward the end of my doctoral program,
as I stepped into residency, the songs returned.
Gently, then insistently. So I picked up my guitar again, and started writing, singing, and recording voice memos on my phone. I was coming back to myself.

I’m Zach Kadro, a folk-soul singer-songwriter.
I write songs where soul and story meet.

Returning to music as a solo artist feels like coming home. These folk-soul songs carry the voice I’ve been growing into over the years. Thanks for being here as I begin again.
