XNIGHTSTARR draws from street culture, video games, martial arts, mythology, cinema, philosophy, old broadcast technology, VHS, CRT imagery, and underground music to create work that feels simultaneously ancient and futuristic.
The project also extends beyond music into what XNIGHTSTARR describes as an “Open Art Economy” a philosophy and system built around abundance, accessibility, and circulation. Rather than treating art solely as a scarce commodity, the goal is to make music and creative work available for artists, filmmakers, streamers, game creators, supervisors, and audiences to use, reinterpret, and build upon through flexible licensing and pay-what-you-want models.
For XNIGHTSTARR, the objective isn't simply fame.
It is to create enough art to build a world around it and to make that world capable of sustaining the person who created it.
