W.Z.A

Growing up listening to lyricists like Biggie, Nas, Tupac,
Wu-Tang, and Kendrick Lamar—W.Z.A made out of himself a
charismatic stage performer who blends his North African
culture with western influences. It was Beirut that gave the
Libyan-Amazighi foreign student a voice through open mic
nights, and the chance to get discovered by Lebanese
Hip-Hop label Beirut Records.

W.Z.A believes that for a song to resonate with anyone, it has
to resonate with its creators, hence why he often writes
emotional, self-reflective, and sometimes satirical music,
having his upgringing and life experiences at the center of
his subject matter.

Did you know that he raps in his native Tamazight?
