Wyss Marie Saxo

Marie Wyss is a Swiss DJ-producer and professional saxophonist based in Fribourg. Since 2013, she has developed a unique musical identity by blending contemporary electronic music—Jungle Deep, Tech House and Melodic Techno—with live saxophone improvisation.

Her hybrid performances unite the energy of the dancefloor with the warmth and expressive power of acoustic music. Atmospheric, harmonic and intense, her sound creates an immersive experience where electronic rhythms meet spontaneous live melodies.

Marie began her musical journey at the age of five and discovered the saxophone at eleven. She has performed with conservatory and professional big bands in jazz, funk and Latin jazz, including the Jazzin’ Orchestra, the Fribourg Conservatory Big Band and the BBCF Big Band.

With more than 20 years of stage experience and nearly 100 events performed, Marie is today an independent artist combining DJing, music production and live saxophone in a distinctive and captivating way.
