Dr. Sky Kershner, DMin, is an Assistant Professor at WVU School of Medicine in Charleston
and is a Supervisor for the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Sky
and his wife are empty-nesters, having raised two kids, fingers crossed!

Dr. Deena Shelton, PhD, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in East Texas and
is an Associate Professor of Counseling at Concordia University Irvine. She is an
adoptive parent of two teenagers and is passionate about supporting other
foster/adoptive/kinship families and the groups that serve them.
