Wood County Committee on Aging, Inc.

The Wood County Committee on Aging is a non-profit organization located in Wood County, Ohio.

The mission of the Wood County Committee on Aging, Inc. shall be to provide older adults with services and programs which empower them to remain independent and improve the quality of their lives. 

In September of 1973 the Wood County Committee on Aging was formed when a group of concerned citizens held a meeting to define a need for a senior center. In 1975 it became incorporated and in January of 2000, the WCCOA proudly became the first Nationally Accredited senior center in Ohio. Today, the Wood County Committee on Aging operates eight senior centers within Wood County, located in Bowling Green, Perrysburg, Walbridge, Rossford, Grand Rapids, Pemberville, Wayne and North Baltimore.
