Women Back to the Land

Across the UK, women from urban backgrounds are breaking the mould by making their living from land-based work. From farmers to foresters, smallholders and gardeners, many are also part of an emerging movement for social and ecological justice. 

‘Women Back to the Land’ (or womback for short) is a multi-media research study that explores different people’s journeys into this space and the larger cultural and political landscapes they move through.
