Wing Chun Nelly

Welcome to my channel! I’m Chanel, also known as Wing Chun Nelly. I’ve been training in martial arts since I was 11 years old, starting with Shotokan Karate and achieving my Black Belt First Dan at 14. Wanting to learn a close-quarter martial art, I later began training in Wing Chun Kung Fu, which I’ve now practiced for the last 7 years.

One of the things I love most about Wing Chun is that it was founded by a woman, making it especially effective for women’s self-defence. Wing Chun focuses on technique, timing, structure, and using skill over strength, helping people defend themselves confidently in real-life situations.

On this channel you’ll find Wing Chun tutorials, self-defence and safety tips for women, training content, martial arts advice, and snippets of my everyday life. Thanks for being here — I hope you enjoy my content! 🐉
