Ludwin Rios

Ludwin Rios was born and raised in Chicago, where music has always been part of his DNA. His father was the lead singer of a regional Mexican group, and Ludwin spent his childhood tagging along to studio sessions and live shows—moments that quietly planted the seed for his own artistic journey.

He started rapping in middle school and began sharpening his pen in high school, turning writing into a way to process life and connect with others. Now at 29, Ludwin writes from experience—his own and those of the people around him—aiming to give voice to stories that deserve to be heard.

Influenced by the likes of MF DOOM, The Roots, Common, Kanye West, and Eminem, and inspired by modern lyricists like Freddie Gibbs, Mavi, Earl Sweatshirt, and Action Bronson, Ludwin blends sharp introspection with soulful grit. Every verse carries the sound of Chicago, faith, and growth—a reminder that the mic can still be a mirror.
