Whistling Gardens - Botanical Gardens

From a corn field to botanical garden... Canada’s newest multi award winning horticultural playground located in southern Ontario was inaugurated in 2012,  attracting seasonal enthusiasts from across the globe. Garden guests explore 22 acres of lush manicured gardens featuring one of the world’s largest public conifer collections offering 1,200 rare species/ cultivars.  We are home to North America’s largest public peony collection revealing 1,300 varieties during the mid spring bloom. 

Cultivated and sculpted into 6 major gardens, there are 4,500 species, hybrids and cultivars of plants to grace visitors as they explore informal and classical garden styles. Garden experiences share knowledge in botany and horticulture, by cultivating an appreciation for our natural environment, through education workshops, seminars, group guided tours, special events and concerts to be enjoyed by all ages.
