Where You Go, You Are 

Hi!  Welcome to 'Where You Go, You Are'.  My name is Jay Lynn, and I hope you will join me as I travel like a local and a tourist!

Slow travel is my jam. Meaning I immerse myself in a culture by exploring farmers markets, meeting local makers and visiting well known sites plus some lesser known ones. I usually opt to go deeper on one place, instead of seeing more. 
My motto is, "Lead with curiosity and find goodness in others." Mindfulness and daily meditation ground me in the body, so I can feel more at home wherever I am. 

My wanderlust began on an "off-the-beaten-path" trip to Costa Rica when I was a kid.  That trip hooked me on learning about places beyond my doorstep. Growing up I liked to spin the globe and research wherever my finger would land.  My family also hosted people from around the world in our home.  From Nepalese artisans(my mother designed Himalayan textiles), to exchange students– our home was an international one.
