CANNEWS is an independent media organization founded by a group of veteran Chinese-language journalists based across major global cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Toronto, Vancouver, Tokyo, London, Paris, Taipei, and Hong Kong.

Our mission is to build a professional, independent, and globally connected Chinese-language news platform for modern times—one that serves Chinese-speaking audiences worldwide with accuracy, depth, and accountability.

We don't have large capital or algorithmic control over the narrative; we rely solely on the attention and support of our viewers. If you believe that the voice of independent media deserves to be heard, please consider supporting us through Super Thanks or channel membership.
