Waymark Gear

Waymark Gear is the free gear list app for hikers. Weigh your pack, get a shakedown from the community, and see what people actually carry on the PCT, AT and 40+ other trails.

On this channel:
• How-tos for every part of the app, from your first list to Pack mode
• Trail packs: real stats from real gear lists, trail by trail
• Shakedowns and lighter options, for every pack weight
• Trip planning: food, water, calories and the gear check
• Document your trip: journals with photos, tied to your gear
• Hiker spotlights

New here? Start with the Getting started playlist. Coming from LighterPack? You can import your lists in about a minute.

Every feature is free, no paywalls. It works on your phone too: open waymarkgear.com and add it to your home screen.

Some gear links may earn us a commission. It never changes what we recommend.
