Wat Happened History

Why did everyone in history look so miserable? Because it was miserable.

Wat Happened is sarcastic, fact-checked cartoon history about what everyday life was actually like: the work, the food, the bosses, the diseases and the dreadful sleeping arrangements. Follow Wat, a very tired peasant, through "Why It Sucked to Be a ___" and find out how bad the good old days really were.

Every episode is written in plain English, so nobody needs to already know what a serf is. Every fact is quoted from a real source, and the sources are listed under every video, pinned to the exact version they were checked against.

Sarcasm is free. Facts are not negotiable.
