Wairi’s World

Welcome to Wairi’s World!

I’m Wairimu, a Kenyan journalist, entrepreneur, mother and storyteller sharing authentic life in Kenya, one adventure at a time.

Join me as I grow food in my Nairobi kitchen garden, learn horse riding as an adult at Xina Stables, explore organic farming, and share life at Whistling Thorns Ol Pejeta, our off-grid vacation rental and farm in beautiful Laikipia.

This isn’t a channel about perfection. It’s about real stories, genuine experiences, and discovering that it’s never too late to learn something new. I’ll share the successes, the mistakes, the laughter, and everything in between.

Whether you’re interested in gardening, horse riding, off-grid living, sustainable farming, travel, or simply enjoy authentic stories from Kenya, I hope you’ll feel at home here.

Subscribe and come along for the adventure. I’d love to have you here.
