Volunteers for Sustainable Development in Africa

Volunteers for Sustainable Development in Africa (VOSIEDA) is a non-profit organization and network of volunteers working to promote prosperity, reduce extreme poverty, and strengthen peace and stability in Liberia and West Africa’s Mano River Union Basin region: Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone.

We across five signature programs to empower and support local communities to promote sustainable development to end extreme poverty, its root causes, and consequences.

5. Media & Civil Society Strengthening

Our approach to sustainable development is a grassroots and community-led model, using volunteerism as a vehicle. We mobilize volunteers to enable more people to get directly involved in their community development, poverty eradication, and environmental protection efforts.
